She then met Clarence Callahan to whom she was married to for 65 years until his passing in 2011. Virginia accomplished a lot in life. She was the President at Vitalab for over 30 years, she was an ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) Officer and even won woman of the year. Virginia loved traveling and camping with her family, as well as sewing and quilting.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth; husband, Clarence Callahan; and son, Clarence Vernon II.
She is survived by two sons, Roy (K-Cee) and Trent (Dale) Callahan; daughter, Pat (Jack) Blake; two sisters, Delores Welch and Peggy Miller; three grandchildren, Jessica Callahan, Jamie Driskell and Jason Blake; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Blake and Whitley Driskell; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM, with service at 10 AM, on Thursday, August 31 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
