Violet Marie Tarlton, 93, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2013 from 12 noon–1:00 p.m. with services to follow at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, Missouri 64114.
Violet was born January 19, 1920 in Kansas City, Kansas to Paul and Bessie (Edgar) Isabell. She was devoted to her family, friends, and church community, and served as a member of John Knox Kirk Presbyterian Church since 1959. Violet was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Cherrito; son C.W. Tarlton, III; six grandchildren: Susie Turner, Mark Tarlton, Tom & Jenny Tarlton, and Stacy & Shane Swezey; and six great grandchildren: Shayna, Sydnee, Seayra, Miles, Maisey, and Jordan. Violet will be dearly missed.
