Violet Pratt (Tumlin)

Violet Pratt, given name Violet Adeline Franklin was born August 3rd 1923 and was raised in Kansas City Missouri.

She worked in the nursing & healthcare field for over 50 years, eventually retiring from Research Medical Center. In those years, being a wife, a single mother, and a reverend for the Lord.

An accomplished musician and songwriter of gospel music she loved the lord Jesus, she was a true servant of the Lord, she loved baking with her grandkids and sewing for whoever needed it.

Having 7 children Shirley Love, Janet Olivia, James Humphreys, Cindy Barrett, Charlene Tolly, Mark Tumlin, and 15 grandchildren; Billy,Anthony,Mitchel Bone Cassie Roe, Becky Cortes,Martha O’Riley,Timothy Olivia ,David Olivia,Daniel Olivia,Cindy Humphreys, Justin & Melissa Barrett, Jason Blakey, 21greatgrandchildren Jason Blakey Jr. Alexis Blakey, Jonathan Roe Hanna Roe, Naomi Sophie, Michael, Nehmiah Cortes Gloria, David Jr.,Joey,Leora,Alexis, Elijah Olivia.
