Thomas G. Geha, 86, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2015, surrounded by his family. Thomas was born on June 4, 1929, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a graduate of Bishop Lillis High School and furthered his formal education at Rockhurst College. Career experiences including ownership of local neighborhood markets, led him to successful business ownership of Geha and Associates, Inc. Thomas’ main priority in life was his family and his beloved pet, Molly. Most of his free time was spent with family and friends enjoying time at the Lake of the Ozarks, attending Royals baseball games and dining in Kansas City. He was a man who never knew a stranger and was always available to anyone for help, advice, or friendship.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Sarah Geha; two sisters, Thelma Essay and Anna Anter. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of 61 years; his children, Suzanne Geha Fairbanks (Greg), Thomas Joseph Geha, Kenneth Michael Geha; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Katie Fairbanks; his brother, Dr. Braham J. Geha (Mary Ann); and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 6th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 7th, 10:00 a.m, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church or the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Kansas City.
