Terry Kay Underwood

Ms. Underwood was born May 17, in Dallas, Texas, to her parents, Bill and Margie Williamson.

Terry, a Shawnee Mission East and University of Kansas graduate, was an entrepreneur who started an association management company, Diversified Consultants, Inc., in 1982. She dedicated her life to her family and friends and serving her clients, staff and her community. She loved traveling, entertaining and dancing. Terry was known as “YaYa” to her two little grandsons who adored her. They were the light of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Burwell, son-in-law Andy and grandsons Logan and Trevor, of Colorado Springs, CO.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 30, 4:30 p.m., at McGilley State Line Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial donations may be made in Terry’s name to Saint Luke's Hospice House, c/o the Saint Luke's Foundation, 4225 Baltimore Avenue, KC, MO 64111.
