Terry Lee Sells

Terry Lee Sells, 77 was called to his heavenly home on March 23, 2018. Terry was born April 1, 1940 in Littlestown, PA the son of James Sells and Helen (Tressler) Sells. Terry graduated from Westminster High School in MD. He served his country in the United States Air Force. During his military service time he married Thelma Jones on November 5th, 1960 in Sioux City, IA. Terry and Thelma moved to Kansas City in 1960. Terry partnered and operated Double Check Company retiring in 2002. He was an active member of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasant Hill, MO. He enjoyed wood working, all sporting events, fishing, hunting and he loved a good card game. In addition to his wife Thelma he is survived by 3 daughters, Sherry Sells Seller (Dennis), Debbie Sells McClure (Steven) and Terri Sells Patel (Viraj); 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Otto Sells (Lois) and James Sells (Rita) and sister, Sally Soika (John) along with numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11 am with visitation beginning at 10 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 8240 Blue ridge Blvd, KCMO 64138. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Children's Mercy, (www.childrensmercy.org/givemercykc) or Neuro Science Stroke Institute, KC (saintlukesgiving.org)
