Teresa J. Hueser

Teresa Hueser, 73, Liberty, MO, passed July 6, 2017 at her home. The rosary will be prayed Monday, July 10th at 6:00 PM, followed by visitation until 8 PM, at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Funeral is 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 11th at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1503 Tracy St., Excelsior Springs, MO, 64024. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association .

Teresa was born October 25, 1943 to Byron and Helen (Cox) Scanlon in El Dorado, KS. She was a 1961 graduate of Lillis High School, Kansas City. Teresa retired from the Hyatt Regency following 30 years of employment. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family either at home or the lake house. She also enjoyed get togethers with her lifelong friends and frequenting thrift stores. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Mick Scanlon and his wife, Sally.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jerry; 2 daughters, Jenny Pantleo, and husband, Mike, and Becky Hughes and husband, Craig; 3 grandchildren, Dani Nistendirk and husband, Tommy, Phillip Pantleo and fiancé, Paige Lewis, and Bryce Hughes; 2 great grandchildren, Journey and Jett; and a sister, Peggy Scanlon of Piqua, OH.
