Sue Kilborn Foley

Sue K. Foley, 78, Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the home. A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. The family requests your presence at a visitation from noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the same location. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Lung Association, Ozanam School: www.ozanam.org or Missouri Girls Town: missourigirlstown.org.

Sue was born in New York City and grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. She moved to Kansas City as a senior in high school and graduated from Southwest High School. She subsequently attended a local business college where she was third in her class. She married Cecil Foley on May 5, 1956 and they enjoyed 47 years of bliss and wonder in Kansas City. Sue retired from Unilever as an administrative assistant in 2002 after many years of exemplary service. Sue was an involved leader in various service organizations. She was past President of the 2nd District of MGFWC and was past Regent of the Little Blue River Chapter of the NSDAR, which she was a member of for 40 years.

Sue enjoyed and loved her family and will be sorely missed by her son Ben and Mary Foley; son Jeff and Peggy Foley; daughter Tricia; son Robert and Elizabeth Foley; her ten grandchildren, Tony and Andy Wagner; Maggie, Shannon and Ryan Foley; Samantha and Andrew Phelps; Robbie, Thaddeus and Lillian Foley; her brother Hiram and Shirley Kilborn of Tucson, Arizona; and her brother-in-law Dean and Donna Foley of Somerset, Texas.
