Stanley Ray Sorenson, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was born in Trenton, MO, on October 20, 1945. Stan proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He was married to Virginia Sorenson on October 20, 1978. Stan retired from AT&T after more than 30 years of faithful service. Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Fred Sorenson, and wife, Virginia Sorenson. Stan is survived by his son, Eric, and his wife Carly, and his grandson, Stellan, of Lee's Summit, MO; brother, Richard Sorenson of Lee's Summit, MO, and sisters Cheryl Hatami of Sedalia, MO, and Judy Walden of Ft. Salonga, New York. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 14th at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, January 15th at Floral Hills.
