Stacey was born in North Kansas City, Missouri on January 27, 1966. She was the only child to parents Constance "Connie" Sue (Antle) and Dennis "Denny" Snapp. She was a lifelong resident of the Northland. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1984, then attended college at CMSU and Park University.
Stacey met and married the absolute love of her life Phillip "Big Phil" Phillips. They married on September 9, 1989 and spent 14 beautiful years together before Phil passed away on September 14, 2003. They shared their life together in their home located on Mayview in Kansas City, Missouri. The same home Stacey continued to live in until her passing.
Although Stacey and Phil did not have any (human) children, they were loving dog parents to Duke, Daisy, Bungie, Sugie, Juno, Leo, and Willy. Her most recent love, Willy, has been happily rehomed to a loving family friend.
Stacey and Phil spent everyday with each other, they worked together for many years at the Phillips' family business, Mobilfone. Stacey worked as a sales team leader for Mobilfone for 12 years. She went on to work at Harley Davidson, Helzberg's, Samuels and Parkville Jewelers. Most recently, Stacey was overjoyed to be working for another family business Leibowitz Menswear in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Stacey enjoyed spending time with her friends, however, the three things Stacey cherished most in her life were Phil, her parents and her dogs. She was also an experienced motorcycle/Harley rider and has owned several fancy motorcycles over the years. She loved traveling, especially via motorcycle, where she could experience the freedom of the open road and feeling the fresh air blowing through her long, beautiful hair.
She was always extremely active with many motorcycle fundraisers like Bikers for Babies, Wayside Waifs, and the Humane Society. More recently, she became interested in jewelry making, beeding and artwork. She proudly created many beautiful pieces that represented her Indian heritage.
Stacey was so excited about a new journey, moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where her and Willy would bask in the beautiful southwest views, sunshine, and the pool she dreamed about in their backyard.
