After a long battle with the aftermaths of COVID, Shirley Ann White (McGovney), 68, of Columbia, Missouri, unexpectedly passed away in her home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in the company of her beloved husband and daughter.
Shirley was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 13, 1954, and attended Raytown High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mildred McGovney (Hatten), her brothers, Rick and Paul McGovney, and her brother-in-law, Ben Kashkooli.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jeffrey White, sister, Katya Kashkooli, daughter, Melanie Hickcox (Brown), son-in-law, Seth Hickcox, and treasured granddaughter, Kyla Hickcox.
On December 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., the family will celebrate Shirley’s memory during an interment of ashes at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 0507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
