Shirley Ann Rima

Shirley was born to Roy and Bertha Hartsell. Shirley was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her most treasured accomplishment was family as made clear by her outpouring of love and direction given to each of four children, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. While raising her children, she worked and later retired as a legal secretary. Throughout her life she cared for many stray animals by giving them a home. Previously she was married to Joseph Meringola (deceased) and later John Rima (deceased).

She is survived by the following family members: Children, JoAnn Palmentere, Michele Bruns, Janine Ross and Joseph Rima. Grandchildren, John David Ross, Desiree Carleton, Christina Fields, Jessica Bunch,

Bennie John, Johnny Joe, Anita, Antonia, and Charlie Palmentere. Great Grandchildren, Brayden, Thomas, Emilia Carleton, Jackson Sartain, Briley Bunch, Anthony Agrusa.

To those that knew her, she will be remembered for her beautiful and warm smile. She will always be missed by those that loved her.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 17th, 2022 from 9am to 10am at Saint Patrick's (1357 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64116). The mass will begin at 10am with a graveside to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133).
