Sharon Kay (Nichols) Rymer, age 80, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away peacefully on September 19, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 11, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Sam and Hattie Nichols, who were owners of Nichol's Steel Erection.
She was a life long resident of Kansas City, Missouri. She attended local Raytown Schools and Graduated Raytown High School. She had a lengthy career in the baking industry, and was employed by; Western Electric, Lee's Summit School district as a bus driver and baker in the cafeteria.
She enjoyed traveling with her parents and truly enjoyed the trips to Hawaii, Europe and to Alaska with her sister and brother-in-law, She also went to Mexico to be the Maid of Honor in her granddaughter Amber's Wedding in 2005.
She loved all animals especially horse and dogs. She owned and loved her 56 Chevy and sneaking out to drag race. She loved going to her sister's hair salon named Jet Set for special treatment over the years. She really truly believed her heritage in the local area and was proud to have family that were local business owners.
Her greatest joy in life was her Granddaughter: Amber Summers-Snow. They were each others rock through life's challenges regardless of right or wrong. She had a tendency to spoil Amber's children, who she loved dearly by buying too many toys.
She is survived by her Granddaughter: Amber (Husband: Kirt) Snow of Raytown, MO. and her great grandchildren: Dreyton and Ryker Snow. Her Sister: Rosslyn (Husband: Jack) Swift of Kansas City, MO. and her niece: Vickee (Husband: Russ) Walthall of Clearwater, FL. Great Nephews: Zack and CJ Newton.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents.
