Ruth was born on September 20th, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri where she grew up. She graduated from Paseo High School in 1954. She worked as a Manager of Lucky Strike Lanes on 90th and Wornall for over 20 years. After that, she worked at Saturn of Olathe in the Business Office for many years. In retirement, she worked in retail at Steinmart and also had a funnel cake business where she and her husband Robert Hagg served delicious funnel cakes at many fairs and carnivals in Kansas and Missouri.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Bertha Green, her husband of 30 years Robert Hagg and her son Brian Aaron Kraft.
She is survived by her children Michael David Kraft, Charna L. Bean and granddaughter, Sydney Bean.
Ruth had a passion for caring for others and she loved helping her Customers at Steinmart pick out clothes and accessories for special occasions and events.
The family would like to thank Interim Hospice and FirstLight Home Care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days especially her dedicated Nurse Angela.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 63141 on Sunday, April 6th at 1:00 PM followed by a catered lunch after the Service.
