Rosie (Saragusa) Martincich, 101, Overland Park, KS passed away January 3, 2022. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 PM Thursday, January 6 at McGilley State Line Chapel with Visitation following from 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Friday, January 7 at St. Michael the Archangel, Leawood, KS. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
Rosie was born in Kansas City, KS and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a product demonstration representative for multiple area locations. Rosie was devoted to her family, it was the most important thing to her, and everyone whether family or friend knew her as Aunt Rosie or Nana. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis Martincich, her parents, and her nine siblings.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Jerry Martincich and his wife Kim; grandson, Jordan Martincich and his wife and son, Denice and Graeme; granddaughter, Jerilee Soendker and her husband, Steven, and many nieces and nephews, especially Pam (Saragusa) Mooneyhan, Nici (Garvey) Updike and Jimmy Garvey. Aunt Rosie was always a part of their lives.
