Rose was born on December 3rd, 1927 in Fredericktown, Missouri to J. Scott Graham and Ruby Kauffman. She lived most of her life in St. Louis before moving to Denver, Colorado and then Overland Park, Kansas to be near her family.
Rose graduated from Normandy High School in 1945 where she met her future husband, Robert U. Randall. During that time, she had various jobs from car hop to retail positions. Bob and Rose were married during Christmas leave on December 26, 1946. While Bob was serving our country, she worked for the St. Louis Circuit Clerk’s Office as a keypunch operator and for an attorney at Grattendick and Horn Law Offices in St. Louis, Missouri. Years later, after her move to Overland Park, Rose worked at the Dillard’s Department Store as a sales associate retiring after 23 years of service in April of 2001. She loved people and especially children. After retiring from Dillard’s, she worked for the Blue Valley School System for a brief time at Leawood Elementary School in the Cafeteria. In her final years, residents and caregivers called her their joy and a sweet friend
