Rose E. Lacy

Rosarie “Rose” E. Lacy of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 9th, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Rose was born October 13, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri to John and Sarah Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Patrick Lacy; son, Little Jimmy; sisters, Catherine Sullivan, Sister Mary Agnes Sullivan, DC, Sister Emily Sullivan, CSJ, Joan Cunningham; and her brother, James Sullivan. Rose is survived by Sister Cecilia Sullivan, CSJ of St. Louis, MO, and many nieces and nephews.

Rose will be greatly missed for her humor, dignity and kind heart by her family and friends.
