He traveled a lot with his wife, Peggy, and they went all over the world. Ronald loved big band music and always had a smile on his face when he listened to it. He spent his life helping others get their GED and become better at reading. He impacted a great number of lives and his family is very proud of him for doing that. Ronald was a modest man and he enjoyed that about himself.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Worthy and Eileen.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; two sons, Rick Johnson (Mary) and TJ Johnson; four grandchildren: Alexandria Johnson, Geoff Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Kelsey Johnson; great-granddaughter, Sophia Johnson; and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, service 2 PM, on Friday, August 13, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
