Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Mary Boyd, leaving behind two sisters Betty Hess and Linda Smith of Washington. Ron had one son Steven (Kim) Baker of Tacoma, Washington. He had one daughter Nicole (David) Williams of Fort Worth, Texas.
Ron spent the last 23 years with his wife Karen Baker of Kansas City, Missouri and her surrounding children Brad (Brandie) Daniels of Kansas City, Missouri and Celine Daniels of Raytown, Missouri.
He is survived by grandchildren Savannah Baker, Cami Baker, Breanna Daniels, Mikaylah Daniels, Marco Daniels, Liam Williams, and Harper Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and attended the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Ron was a long time meat sales broker working for Carl Buddhig, Thorn Apple Valley, and R & M Marketing.
Ron and Karen’s lives centered around their family and friends. Ron loved traveling with Karen, especially down to Cancun. Ron never met a stranger, and if you were a stranger, you would walk away a friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Visitation for Ronald will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. A Celebration of Life Service will follow and then burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
