Roger Paul Van Pelt was born on March 11, 1934 in Grand Junction, Iowa. He passed away on December 22, 2017. He was a certified financial planner. He was the Vice President, of Commerce Bank in the 1970’s. He then moved on to be the President, of Century Savings in the 1980’s. He was a Tax Accountant for Padgett Business Services in the 1990’s until he retired in 2006.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Thelma Van Pelt; brother, Richard Van Pelt; son, Kevin Van Pelt; partner, Jim Bethany.
Roger is survived by his spouse James Fox, son, Kurt Van Pelt; three grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
There will be a service on Thursday, January 4, at 1:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131
