Rodney “Rod” Ellis Dakon, 82, of Holt, Missouri passed away on June 21, 2023
Rodney was born on June 14, 1941 and graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1959. He was married to Sandra M. Dakon for 65 years. Rodney was an honorary lifetime member of the Graphic Communications International Union, GCU Local 235-M and The Amalgamated Lithographers of America (ALA) Union. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association and also an Eagle Scout.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Larson and his brother, Richard Dakon.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Dakon; children; Randy Dakon and Dana King; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A visitation for Rodney will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Northeast Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
