Mrs. Morrison,
hello, my name is Jim Lynch and I was a friend of Rob's from way back in the day. I just found out he had passed, and I wished to convey my condolences to you and your family. It's very sad when someone that young goes, but I hope it was peaceful for him.
Rob and I worked together at Venture in Shawnee (that's how long ago it was!) and I hadn't seen him in 20 ish years. Very long story short, he is the person most responsible for my wife (who also worked there) and me being together. After a disastrous first date, Rob encouraged me to ask her out again...and we've been together ever since. So that's how I remember him; I just wish I had had the chance to reconnect on Facebook sooner. 
The Rob I remember was a great guy, always with a smile and a wise-guy comment. I hope that's how his life was lived, and i hope you take comfort in the positive effect he had on the lives he touched.

I am a friend of Rob's in KC and just learned of his passing. I am so sorry for your loss and am just heartbroken. Rob was the best man in my wedding to my ex Nathan. After our divorce Rob was a huge support to me. We would see each other when he came home to KC to visit. I have a trip planned to nyc in sept and was hoping to see him. He was such a kind hearted person and will be missed by so many. I saw that it could be a couple mos before you know more about his passing. Please let me know if you can.   Holly Bieker

Mrs Morrison,  I just now learn about Rob passing and a friend found your message. I am very sorry but I want you to know Rob was a great, caring guy loved by his friends. I never forgot how good he was with kids, and that tells me everything about a person's heart. 
He left Dallas some time ago but still have many people here who cared for him.
You did a great job raising him, he was a great person. Please accept my sincere condolences and hope you find peace in the good memories. He finished "his job" here and was time to go back home. Thank God it was a peaceful passing...

Rob, you were taken way too soon from us, but God must have a plan. You were always a good friend and will be greatly missed. Prayers to your family and close friends during this difficult time.

Rob, your passing has been a tremendous shock, but the memories are instilled forever in my heart.  I wish we could have spent more time together, but I'm glad the times spent were full of fun and laughter. 

To his friends and family, my thoughts and prayers go out to you during for your loss and that your pain is lessened with the knowledge that he was loved by so many.

My sympathies to Rob's family and all who knew him. We were good friends for a time in KC, and I'm sorry to have not done a better job of staying in touch.  Sad to say goodbye forever to an old friend.
