Robert Joseph Schofield

Robert Joseph Schofield, 91, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on February 28, 2020. Robert was born on November 5, 1928 to Verla (Rice) and Jay Schofield in Kansas City, KS. He graduated from Bishop Lillis High School in 1946.

Robert was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp serving his country from 1949 to 1951. After his service he attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1958. He later earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 1965. Robert worked for 25 years at Bendix/Allied Signal.

Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Mary Dianne (Kipper) Schofield, daughter, Kathleen Ann Crawford, brother, Jay Schofield, sister, Margaret Bauman, and brother Edward L. Schofield.

His leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Johnson-Schofield, daughters, Mary Ellen Winter, Susan Patrick, and Jeanne Schofield, son, Robert M. Schofield, along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Monday, April 6th, 2020, 11:00 am, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Kansas.
