Robert G. Peck, 81, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away May 4, 2017. Born February 22, 1936 in Hunter, Oklahoma, he grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He attended college at Wichita State University and married Anna Majors in 1956. Robert worked for IBM for 14 years, starting in Wichita before transferring to Kansas City. Robert and Anna also lived in San Jose, California and Dallas, Texas. He later owned his own business, Faultless Data Services, which he eventually sold. Later he worked at American Hereford Association and the IRS.
Robert loved to play the guitar, travel and spend time with his family. He was also member of Mensa. Robert enjoyed the Royals and was a Chiefs season ticket holder.
Robert was preceded in death by his son Michael G. Peck; brothers Fletcher Reed and Ellis Dean Peck. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna M. Peck; daughter Diana L. Peck-Muntzel; son Monty P. Peck; daughter-in-law Carolyn Peck; grandchildren Jacob and Eric Muntzel, April Herbel and husband Jason and Brian Peck and wife Ana; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Hayden and Anabelle Peck; brothers Rex Peck and wife Jarieta and Monty Peck and wife Frances.
Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2017 at Mount Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
