Robert F. Morse

Robert F. Morse, 79, of Blue Springs, MO went to his forever home on Friday, July 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents, two brothers, one sister and a grandson, Noah. He is survived by one son, Tim and his wife Pam of Oak Grove, MO; one daughter, Lori and husband Mark of Sunrise Beach, MO; five grandchildren, Raena Reisdorph (Josh), Raechel Ziegler (Nate), Jonathan Morse, Stefanie Logan (Paul) and Melissa Deets (Aaron) two step grandchildren, Kasey and Shelby Briscoe; seven great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Bob was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Rich Hill High School in 1954. He worked for Hallmark as an Engineer Technician for 37 years, retiring in 1992. He was an active member of Timothy Lutheran Church and served as a Co-Chairman of the Senior Team. When Bob was younger, he was also very active with the youth of Timothy serving as a Counselor. Bob and Sharon were members of the Optimist Club for many years. They called Bingo once a month together at the Shangri La Nursing Home. Bob also entertained with music at the nursing home. He loved to play music and would get together every Wednesday with a few friends in his music room in the old barn. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. also at the Church. Burial will be in Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Timothy Lutheran Church.
