Bob was born January 18, 1937 in KCMO to Frank and Anne (Bozich) Galvan.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1958 and served on the USS Floyd B. Parks. Bob spent his entire career in the hotel industry. Most notably the Muehlebach Hotel and The Embassy Suites.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Steve Quinones and former wife, Isabelle (Corona) Galvan.
Bob is survived by 3 children: Debbie Armenta, Robert Galvan, and Andrea and husband Tony Termini, 8 grandchildren: Tabitha, Louisa and husband David, Claressa, Jacob, Alexis, Anthony and wife Stacy, Robert and wife Nicole, and Brian, 8 great grandchildren: Nicholas, Levi, Anthony, Grayson, Javan, Micah, Elijah, Jet, and 2 Brothers: Anthony and Stephen Galvan both of Kansas City, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to his nieces and nephew who were his primary caregivers over the last few years, Bernie and Julia Cacho and their children, Hope, Ramona, Kimberly, Annabelle, and Julia.
Visitation will be 5:00-630 pm Thursday, with rosary at 6:30 pm March 19, 2015 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd., KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday, March 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Cesar Chavez, KCMO. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCK.
