Bob was a caring and compassionate man always willing to help people. His love for those was demonstrated by his generosity and drive to take interest in their lives, to provide an opportunity, and to go out of his way to assist in any way. He enjoyed quality time with family and friends. Bob was well known for his love of boxing, kick boxing, and MMA. He displayed his love for the sports and his toughness by actively participating well into his 70’s.
Bob was preceeded in death by his sister Brenda Ann Edney. He is survived by his sister Bobbie Jean Williams; his wife Sally; his four children Angela Burton, Kyle (Ann) Burton, Tracie (Jimmy) Giron, Natalie (Terry) Hopper; and his 9 grandchildren James Burton, Daniel Burton, Mary Holt, Lake Giron, Emily Giron, Elizabeth Ackerman, Taylor Hopper, Jack Hopper, and Hayden Hopper.
Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Monday morning June 5th at 10:00am. At Mt Moriah Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home at 10507 Holmes Rd. Kansas City, MO 64131. A visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 with a reception immediately following.
