Rita K. Volz, 87, passed away quietly March 2, 2015 at New Mark Care Center. Visitation 6:00-8:00PM Friday, March 6th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM . Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00AM Saturday, March 7th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Gladstone, MO. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, KC North, MO.
Rita was born in Cedar County, NE on June 7, 1927 to Anton and Katherine Pinkelman. She was preceded in death by her spouse George, 5 brothers, 3 sisters and one grandchild. Rita leaves behind 5 children, Phyllis (Jesse) Valenciano; Kathy Salyer; Jeannie Volz; Joseph Volz and Danny (Barb) Volz; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
