Richard Milz

Richard Milz, 68, of Greenwood, MO passed away March 6, 2013. Visitation will be 10am, Monday, March 11, 2013 followed by Funeral Mass at 11am, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, KCMO.

Richard was born July 30, 1944 to Joseph and Jessie Milz in Cresco, IA. He graduated from Crestwood Public High School in 1962. He worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad Company most of his life, retiring on his birthday in 2004. Richard married his wife Anita on January 4, 1998. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed taking vacations with his wife Anita and very special granddaughter, Ashleigh.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne Milz. Survivors include wife Anita; brothers, Donald Milz (Sharon); Gerald Milz (Colleen); Joseph Milz (Teresa); sisters, Marilyn O’Shea (John); Judy Chrisman; Jeanne Hruska (Dennis); sister-in-law, Diane Milz; step sons, Jason Love and Jeffrey Love; granddaughter, Ashleigh DiMattina and numerous nieces and nephews.
