Richard Stanton Lee Sr.(Dick) Passed away on Nov 13, 2024. He is preceded in death by his Father and mother Harold and Gertrude Lee, His Wife of 62 Years Marilyn and a son Richard Stanton Lee Jr. He Leaves behind a Daughter Susie Kirk( Darren) four Grandchildren Sean Kirk(Sissy), Samantha Barber(Jacob), Nicholas Kirk(Sammy), Noelle and 5 great- grandchildren, Hayden, Liam, Beauman, Eleanor and Poppy Jo.
Dick grew up in Raytown graduating from Raytown High in1950. He married Marilyn after graduating in 1955 from K-State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Just 3 short months after their wedding he was deployed to Korea for 18 months. Upon his return from Korea he began a long career at Western Electric in Lees Summit. He retired in 1989 and spent many golden years of retirement traveling with friends, camping, and spending time with his grandkids. He was very involved with Broadview and later Lee's Summit Christian as a Deacon and Elder. He will be missed by all. He always approached life with a joyous spirit and ready to share a joke, song or his vast knowledge on many subjects
A Celebration of Life Service will be held November 30 at Lee’s Summit Christion Church 291 and Tudor. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM followed by a service.
