Rich I still can't believe you've been gone so long.  It just doesn't seem possible. I'm mad at myself because I should have told you again how much your friendship meant to me. It was always ,"I'll look him up soon and catch up." I let too much time go by, and now you're gone.  But you certainly aren't forgotten. I must say that you were one of the kindest people I have ever known. I don't remember you ever saying a bad word about anyone.  You were my sounding board no matter what. I remember you coming to my house in the pouring rain one night just to talk because I was upset about something. You were always a good friend to me. I fondly remember all of our good times. I Remember going to Six Flags in St Louis in my cousin Jerrys car with no shocks with you, Kathy, Dan and Deanna. That was a blast. Going on vacations to Bagnell Dam  with your family.  And my sisters and I working at the hotel with your family.  Going to the stables up on Salisbury Road to ride our horse and have picnics. And a group of us going to the stables at Stephensons to ride and then over to their restaurant to eat apple fritters.  Sadly Stephensons is gone now too.  Then there were the get togethers and jam sessions at your house on Cheyenne Drive.  So much fun. We weren't just friends. Our families were friends. The door at your house was always open to my family and our door was open to yours. You were even friends with my cousin Jerry.  Oh where did the time go? I have learned a lessen from you. Don't wait too long to tell someone how much they mean to you. My life is so much better because you were my friend Rich. Your memory lives on with me. Rest in peace dear friend. Until we meet again.

I met Rich when he came to work with us. He was instantly part of the group, another musician surveyor. I never took the opportunity to hear him play, but we talked about music a lot, and I could tell from that he was an accomplished professional.
I never heard him speak a harsh word to or about anyone, nor did anyone ever have a harsh word for him, a kind, humble soul, someone that makes the world a better place.
So now he is with the best musical ensemble of all time. As Wolfgang, and Ludwig duel on the piano, and Jimi soars in soulful riffs, Rich can slip in the sweet, clean notes so it all makes perfect sense.
Good Luck in your new gig at the Golden Globe, Rich. We'll all come to hear you some day.

Rich I can't believe you are gone.  I find myself wanting to pick up the phone two and three times a day to call you and joke with you !  I thought of you more as a brother!! For all the times I stayed at your house your family was my second home!! You my friend will be greatly missed but not forgotten!! Until we meet again!! Thanks for all the memories!!

I wasn't lucky enough to actually meet Richard, however I know Gina very well as a wonderful girlfriend. I feel as if I knew him, as she always spoke so fondly and happy about him, whenever she talked about the band. I know Richard was a rock for her and my heart goes out to the Inman Family. May God hold you in the palm of His hand at this difficult time. I am sure the Angels needed a gifted guitar player and now they have one in God's band.

Bev and Kathy... I wish there was something I could say that would ease the pain you are going through. I like to remember the years at the Inman home on Cheyenne Drive. Playing with Rich in one of our many bands, vacations at the lake, skipping school (not too much), working at Chattam Hotel, and on and on. Some of the best memories I have is growing up with your family... We had a BLAST! It's sad that we lost Rich and my thoughts are with you all.

Rich, I am so glad we reconnected a year or so ago. I cannot believe that you're gone & I am truly heartbroken. Thank you for sharing your musical talents with me so many years ago.  My very first band experience, included you & I am so very grateful for that. I am blessed to have known you. My thoughts & prayers are with your family & friends there in KC. Rest in peace, my friend. You are missed so much!

Rich, This is 20 years at the very MINIMUM from which I should be writing this!   Just knowing you are playing that guitar right now for your Dad, Kenny, and Pat Roach are comforting.  My high School memories of your House, Family, and THAT Firebird are etched in my memory.  Those times at your practice jams in the 70’s in those little rented spaces on 291 and 23rd street . . . . . . . with Danny Goins, Kink, Andy, and Roger were the best of times!

Richie, you were always a kind and gentle soul, you will be missed.

Rich, You were with out a doubt one of the good ones. The memories I have of you will live in my heart and mind forever. I will miss your smile.

Rich, a treasured friend for 38 years. I am so thankful that I know I will see you again someday.  I believe you'll be rejoicing with Harold and Kenny and playing some amazing heavenly guitar at Heaven's gates.  Until then I'll be praying for your family. We love you Rich!

I worked with Rich for seven years at Lieberman Enterprises. He always made me smile with his infectious laugh. You will be missed, friend.

I can't believe my dear friend is gone. Rich was such a sweet person and a great musician, my husband and I would love to just watch him play that guitar.
