Rich was born May 20, 1951. He is survived by his children Christapher Clark of Glenaire, Missouri and Pete Kinser (Melanie) of Denver, Colorado as well as two grandchildren, Kate and Avery Kinser of Denver, Colorado, his brother Steve Clark, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and his brother Charles Clark Jr., of Lake Ozark, Missouri.

“Grandpa Rich” was blessed with a curious mind and a natural intelligence. His intelligence was only outshined by his genuine humility. He had a passion for golf, swimming, and spent many hours scuba diving. After attending the University of Missouri-Rolla, he worked in a variety of industries as a computer programmer for over 40 years in Kansas City.
Rich was an avid bridge player and in 2019 achieved the impressive rank of Silver Life Master. No matter his circumstance, Rich always found a way to make new friends and had a gift for making those around him feel at ease. To his family, he’ll forever be an example of determination, grit, and what it means to be an outstanding father, husband, and friend. He carried a deep love for his wife, Deborah. She was his world and he, hers. Their relationship and specifically their outward love and support for one another will continue to be a model for his family and to those who knew him.
A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00am at Mound Grove Cemetery, 1818 North River Boulevard, Independence, MO 64050.
