Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Mr. Randall Louis Bowman was born August 27,1957 in Yuma, Arizona to Gene and Rosiland. He was the youngest of three and is survived by sister Toni and brother Mark. He grew up watching and learning from his father about the farming industry.
Randy graduated from Kofa High School in 1975, and completed his education with a Bachelors in Business Administration.
He met the love of his life, Robin Ambur in 1977 and they were married in 1978. They moved from Yuma to Salinas, California and had two beautiful baby girls Leslie and Sara. He was diagnosed with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis shortly after in 1986.
Randy was the ultimate salesman and joyfully travelled the country from steakhouse to steakhouse and was promoted to North America’s regional director of sales for a quickly growing hydraulic brake company. The family moved to Kansas City Missouri in 1994, where they currently reside.
He always had a best friend by his side, and over his years was so loved by three wonderful dogs and plenty of cats. Randy always gave his wife and daughters everything they could want or need, from fast cars and jet skis to family trips to Hawaii, The US Virgin Islands and everywhere in between. He lived life to the fullest for as long as he was able.
Randy retired in 2007 and was lovingly cared for by his wife Robin as his disease progressed. He lost the ability to walk slowly over the years, but never lost his spirit. His abounding love for family and friends, his generous heart, and smiling eyes never faded. He welcomed the joy of his granddaughter Piper on New Years Day of 2018. He shared and watched her grow from the day she was born as his health deteriorated. Randy became suddenly very ill and entered the arms of Our Heavenly Father on November 7,2019, surrounded and held by his wife and two daughters in his final days and moments on this earth.
We will never be the same and will always have an empty place in our hearts that only Randy could fill. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, uncle, and a grandfather and touched the hearts of everyone he met.
Some things never end like love, memory, and the legacy of a life that meant so much.
The family will hold an informal gathering on the afternoon of December 14th, 2019 from 11am on to celebrate the life and mourn the death of Randy. Please join us and rejoice at 8724 NE 116th Street
