Ralph Linwood Conner

RALPH LINWOOD CONNER passed away April 3, 2019 at the age of 77. Ralph was born on September 6, 1941 to Otus Linwood and Mildred Gwendolyn (Hagin) Conner in Macon, Georgia, he was blessed with many brothers and sisters.

On November 17, 1962, Ralph married the love of his, Irmgard (Schmidt) Conner, affectionately known as "Inga", to this union, two beautiful children were born.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, several siblings, many relatives and friends.

He is survived by his partner Carol Ball, son Ralph M. Conner, daughter Michell “Missy” Conner, grandson Chase Conner, granddaughter Morgan Conner, brother Frank Conner and his partner Jewel, brother John Conner and his wife Becky, sister Glenda Stokes and her husband Irvin, sister Annie Laura Conner, brother Jimbo Conner and his wife Michelle, as well as many nieces and nephews, family members and friends.

Ralph retired from General Motors after nearly 30 years of dedicated service. He loved his family and friends, the Kansas City Chiefs and a nice cold beer. He was a good friend to many, was always ready to help. He had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh.

Ralph was truly an amazing man, with a huge heart that touched so many people’s lives. He will surely be missed.

He always keep the best out look on life and would often say:

Now tell me….”Do ya feel more like ya do now than ya did while ago?” or “what would ya rather do or ride a bike?”

A "Celebration of Ralph's Life" will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
