Phyllis Ann Sloan Gregory

Phyllis had a career in healthcare for over 25 years. She retired from St. Mary’s Hospital as Director of Patient Accounting Services and from Fortis Benefits Insurance as a Cost Recovery Specialist. Phyllis volunteered for John Knox Village in Physical Therapy and was the Chairman of District 1 Resident Council. She was a member of the Raytown Christian Church for many years and was also a member of the Adam and Eve Sunday School. Phyllis was a former member of 4 Seasons Retirement Group.

She loved music, dancing, and being with her family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Dale E. and Ruth M. Sloan; daughter, Ruth Ann Poling; daughter, Lora Leigh Whitney; and daughter, Kathy Jo Carroll.

She is survived by three brothers, Donald Sloan (Patricia), Dale Sloan (Margaret) and Jerry Sloan (Jan); grandchildren and great grandchildren: Philip Yates (Ginger) and their children, Quenton, Kylie and Brogan, Robert Yates, Melissa England (John), Jason Weber (Ginger) and their children, Trent and Joseph, Jacob Stanfield and his son, Noah, Angela Raw and Dustin Raw; as well as many other family and friends.
