Peggy R. Gnegy

Peggy R. Gnegy, 71 Liberty went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital Kansas City, MO. Peggy had a winter home in Apache Junction, AZ.

Peggy was born March 14, 1940 in Wathena, Kansas to Clarance Engeman and Opal (Moss) Engeman.

Peggy married Everett Gnegy (who passed away on October 31, 2005) on April 23, 1960 in Wathena, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her daughter Suzann (Gnegy) Gray, her sister Shirley and a special nephew Andy Swope. She is survived by her son-in-law Deril Gray, Kansas City; sisters June and Beulah of Ottawa, Kansas; aunt, uncles, cousins and a host of relatives and friends who loved her so much.

She was a member of the Evangelistic Center Church in Kansas City and The Community Christian Church in Apache Junction, AZ.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday July 29, 2011 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel 3325 NE Vivion Rd Kansas City, MO, with the graveside service at 11:30 AM in Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas. A visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in Peggy’s name. (www.mcgilleyantiochchapel.com)
