Peggy was born April 28, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. She spent her early years in Raytown, Missouri and graduated from Raytown High School in 1963. She spent most of her career in grocery sales in Kansas City. When she retired after over 30 years in the sales industry she worked part time at Eskew's Jewelry and in the cafeteria with the LSR7 School District. She then volunteered at Great Beginnings Early Education Center after she was no longer working. Peggy loved more than anything spending time with her family! She always put her family before her and anything they needed came first! She also enjoyed spending time at the lake, and playing cards, reading and doing crafts. Peggy will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her well!
She was preceded in death by her mother Tharon Gray, father Howard Gray, sister Nancy Brown, husband Donald Bartlett, and nephew Paul McBee.
Survivors include her son Jim Carlson (wife Sharon Carlson), son Mike Carlson, daughter Jackie Dorweiler (husband Dan Dorweiler), sister Wanda McBee (husband Don McBee), grandchildren Conner Carlson (wife Carey Carlson), Tyler Carlson (wife Meagan Carlson), Noah Dorweiler, Julia Dorweiler, great-grandchild Rowan Carlson, niece Sandy Bullard (husband Mike Bullard), and brother-in-law Larry Brown.
