Upon his honorable discharge, Paul moved to Kansas City, MO where he worked for Gilbert Robinson, Inc. as a part of the opening management team for the restaurants: The Leather Bottle, Sam Wilson’s, Annie’s Santa Fe, and Houlihan’s. In partnership, he opened the restaurants Frolics and Julio Manchico’s. He went on to work as a territory manager for Lady Baltimore, Kraft Foods, Alliant Foodservice, and US Foods.
Paul was extremely proud of his work in the restaurant and food business but he also found great joy in his family. As a family, they made many happy memories including traveling and celebrating holidays and special occasions. Paul loved bringing joy to others through cooking, baking, and his notorious jokes and storytelling.
