Paul Eugene Harris

Paul Eugene Harris passed November 4, 2022 in Belton, Missouri at the age of 95. Paul was born in Augusta, Kansas January 19, 1927 to John Harris and Leone Mosier. Paul was a WWII veteran as well as a veteran of the Korean War. He received his final discharge as a Seaman 1/C in August 1951. Once home, he returned to work for the VA for 5 years and then started working for the Corp of Engineers, where he was a land negotiator. Paul was a deacon and very active in his church. After his retirement he and his wife enjoyed many years together enjoying many different activities, along with camping and traveling. He enjoyed many fishing trips with his son and grandsons. He also enjoyed hunting with his friends, along with gardening and keeping his lawn manicured.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Lura Vee, on September 25, 2022. He was also preceded in death by his 3 siblings, Evelyn Morley, Helen Ramsour, and Donald Harris. He is survived by his daughter Renee Setzer and husband Michael of Harrisonville, Missouri and his son Kevin Harris and wife Lori of Peculiar, Missouri. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Paul will be greatly missed as a Father and Papa but the family finds great comfort in knowing he is with his Lord and has been reunited with his wife.

A visitation will occur Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.

Funeral service for Paul to follow from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Graveside service will occur Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Floral Hills East Memory Gardens 25203 E 50 Hwy Lee's Summit Mo 64086
