She was born on January 6, 1934, the only child of Raymond and Grace Fredrick. She attended St. Michael’s grade school and graduated from East High School in 1951. She then went on to work at Western Union, and on July 7, 1956, married Keith Clark, with whom she shared 54 loving years. After a brief stay in California, she returned to Independence to raise a family. She became a member of Nativity of Mary parish in Independence, MO, in 1959. Service to the parish brought her much fulfillment. She had much joy raising her family and attending her kids’ and grandchildren’s sporting events. After raising her family, she went to work at the City of Independence personnel department until she retired in 1995. She distinguished herself during her 25-year career, where she earned many medals. Years after the passing of her husband, Keith, she was blessed by the Lord to have met a gentleman companion, Mike Fetters, of the parish, where they spent time together at family events, church, and traveling, until she passed.
