My condolences to the family,
  I was saddened to learn of  my childhood friend  Ollie Mae  Norton . 
We became friends  in 6 grade at Porter school many years ago. After graduation we attended NSC, Talaquah , OK where she met Mr Mack it was the fall of 1965.  We have always shared our birthdays on fb  in April, when I didn’t hear from her I knew something was on.  
Please forgive me for the long response, I had just buried my spouse around the same time. I will always have great memories of  Ollie we’re family,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Ollie's passing. We bought our homes at the same time. As they were duplexes, we were naturally concerned about who we'd be living next to. I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor who became my friend. She was the kind of neighbor you could count on. I really missed her when she sold her side. But we still texted and chatted, and still called each other "neighbor" even after she'd been gone for over 5 years! I was watching a Monkey Kaka video earlier, and remembered Ollie is the one who introduced me to those videos! I have many fond memories of Ollie. I'll truly miss her. Rest in peace, neighbor.

I am so sorry to loose you Ollie Mae. I remember those Sunday dinners in Porter with your family and ours. You, me and Ella had to churn the butter for biscuits and draw water from well. Family always said you and I looked alike cause of our bow legs and short stature.

My aunt Ollie and Uncle Mack was always there for us when we moved to Kansas City in 1970. My mom was pretty much a single parent, raising 7 kids. If we needed anything they were there for us.

Aunt Ollie attended my graduation(s), and my siblings graduations and always wanted the best for us. We loved going to her home in Independence. We loved when she and the kids came to visit us. 

My aunt Ollie was a beautiful person inside/out. She was nice, kind, quiet, supportive, and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always wanted to see me succeed. 

I know things over the years weren't perfect but there wasn't anything that was done or said that would change the love I had/have for you and my cousins.

I will miss you, Auntie, and I will always love you!  You are in a better place with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We All have a day, and your day was April 7. 

Rest in Heaven!!

It was so devastating to hear of your passing.  Now, all I can do is reminisce on the things that you and I had together.  You were my sister-in-law, my friend,  my Girl, for so  many, many years.  We traveled to the Gaylor properties, which you always invited me.  We would spend time together and go out to dinner when you came into town.  I've stayed in your home and you in mine.  We could talk about any and everything.

 I always admired your strength and always told you I did.  You were an inspiration to me, you know, retiring, rebuilding, buy your own home, traveling, visiting, exercising, loving your children and grandchildren -- living life!!  

Yeah, life brought about a few changes in the last few years and we didn't communicate as often; however  my feelings for you never changed and they never will.  God rest your soul, Friend.  You will be missed!  I can truly say I had a dear sweet friend in you and I loved you.

To the family, be encouraged and our deepest sincerest condolences.  God bless you all.

Aunt Ollie will truly be missed, she had a loving spirit and always had an encouraging word for me. I remember when I use to do her hair, she would tell me that I needed to invest in my own shop.  Aunt Ollie is resting in peace with our Heavenly Father, smiling down on us.  May we find strength and peace during this difficult time. Our aunt was an inspiration to so many, and her spirit will forever live on. Please accept my deepest condolences.

We're all really going to miss our Aunt Mae.  Her laugh, smile, and her always having encouraging words for everyone.  We love u Auntie! Rest in Heaven.

Aunt Mae never seemed old enough to be our aunt.  Growing up some summers she spent with our family (my mom Rose), so she seemed more like a sister.  She also opened up her home to me because of my job in 2006.  I thank God and her for her show and love. My condolences and Mack, Angie the grands, and  her surviving siblings. We all feel a loss. Love you family💕

My condolences to the family My Auntie was a very sweet person and love very much she was always there for you she had just called me that week to see how I was doing  after the loss of my family I told her god had my back she said she was ok we had talk to she let me no auntie Zettie had gone to California at that time auntie you will be miss

My aunt Mae brought so much to the Norton family as a whole! It's difficult to imagine her not being with us still.  I remember as a teen going to Missouri often with my parents to visit her and uncle Mack they were both so loving and generous people that made you feel so welcome!    I'm going to miss her and her hearty laugh so much but I know God doesn't make mistakes so we'll have to except it with gratitude that she's with her other family members in Glory!
