Nanette Marcel (Stiles) Andereck, 83, Kansas City, Missouri went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Hospice House and Palliative Care. She had such an incredible relationship with the Lord that whenever possible, she would share with others the things He did for her, even with her doctors and nurses. At times, they would end up so touched that they couldn’t help but weep.
She married Don Stiles in 1958 and in 1959; they had their first baby girl, Lisa. Four years later, they had their second baby girl, Nancy. Nanette was a fabulous seamstress and made all her girls’ clothes as well as her own. She was the most generous and giving person. She loved anything crafty, cooking, gardening and decorating her house.
She taught Jr. High Sunday School classes and along with her husband were church youth leaders. One of the highlights of being a youth leader was hosting a monthly “Youth Council” at her house. She would prepare pies, cakes, sandwiches, etc. to feed the attendees before they went back to evening service. Many people to this day still remember her goodies! She was a fabulous baker/cook!
She was married to Don for 26 years when he passed in 1984. She remained single until God brought a wonderful man into her life, Ron Andereck, in 1991. They shared so many things in common it was uncanny. They enjoyed taking long drives, having picnics together and hosting lunches for others. They were married until he passed in 2007.
She is preceded in death by her mother Georgia Wheeldon, father Herbert Wheeldon, brothers Herb, Jim and Joe, sisters Peggy Mae and Phyllis. She leaves behind daughter Lisa (Jon) Floyd, daughter Nancy Stiles, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service but only a private inurnment at Floral Hills Cemetery. Donations can be made to Hospice House and Palliative Care, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64145.
