When Nancy was 17 she met and married the love of her life, Bruce Brackett and had two sons, Lantz and Vincent. After marriage she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church). The entrepreneurs that Bruce and Nancy were, started the company NCCT in the early 80’s. This company has grown to be one of the top medical testing companies in the US. Nancy loved the company and all of her employees and always said she would never retire. Nancy had several passions including skating, ballet, opera, sailing, fashion and always wanted to live on or near the water. Nancy loved and had many dogs and birds. Most of all, Nancy loved her family and friends, all of whom knew her to be an incredibly generous woman.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera Graham; her sister, Merl Ann Edwards; her ex-husband, Bruce Brackett; and her great granddaughter, Audrey L. Andrews.
She is survived by her two sons; Lantz Brackett of Leawood, KS andVince Brackett and Lori of Overland Park, KS; 5 grandchildren: Steven Brackett of Belton, MO, Christopher Brackett of Blue Springs, MO, Sebastion Brackett and Makenzie of Shawnee, KS, Tylor Brackett and Jessica of the United States, Sieara Andrews and Charles of Olathe, KS; 2 great grandchildren: Matthew Brackett of Lee Summit, MO and Samantha Andrews of Olathe, KS; and 4 birds; 2 African Greys, Poko & Xiaohuli (sha-hoo-lie), 1 Eclectches, Pepper, and 1 Ring Neck Parrot, Ollie.
