Mildred W. Hodges Cooper

Mildred W. Cooper, 83, Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away April 6, 2012. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the funeral home.

Mildred was born June 16, 1928 in Archie, MO, daughter of Frank and Eva Hodges. She attended East High School in Kansas City, MO and was a member of the Eastern Star. She leaves behind three daughters: Margaret Sullins, Lynne Martin Anderson and her husband Earl, and Marian Johnson and her husband Tim; one son: Andrew Cooper; five granddaughters: Stacey Sullins, Jennifer Salgado, Andrea Comfort, Kristen Cooper and Melanie Johnson; two grandsons: Ron Martin and Jonathan Cooper; sister-in-law: Terri Allen; and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 ½ years Roy Cooper; son Allen Cooper; granddaughter Kim Kahn; one brother LeRoy Hodges; and sister Alice Hale.
