Michael Gene Zimmerman

Michael Gene Zimmerman, age 55, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010. Mike was born on June 15, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas and has been a long time resident of Overland Park, Kansas. Mike loved fishing and golfing at the Lake of the Ozarks, and watching baseball and football, but his all time favorite thing in the world was watching his daughter dance. Survivors include: his favorite two girls in the world, his loving wife of 18 years, Shannon (Lewellen) and wonderful daughter, Haley Zimmerman; mother and father, Bill and Virginia (Hamilton) Zimmerman; mother and father-in-law, Don and Pam Lewellen; sister and family, Diane, Rick, and Michelle Fuleky; sister-in-law and niece, Brooke and Bronwyn Wood; brother-in-law and wife, Nick and Jessica Lewellen. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home at 10507 Holmes Road on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 3:00 PM, with calling hours 1 hour prior to the service.
