Michael Roger Casey, Sr. “Mick”, 79, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. Mass of Christian burial 10am Thursday, June 25th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 10113 E. Lexington, Independence, MO 64053 with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation from 6-8pm Wednesday with the rosary recited at 6pm at St. Ann’s Church.
Mick was a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. He retired from Miller-Cooper Ink, Inc. after 40 years of employment in the printing business. Mick was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Charlene (Hayhurst) Casey; his parents; one brother, Earl and Mick’s beloved in-laws. He is survived by his children, Michael, Jr. (Julie), Beth McGhee (Mike), Patrick (Carmen) & Jennifer Moore; one brother, Tom; sisters, Betty, Pat, Ethel, Susie & Mary; sisters-in-law, Martha & Beverly; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
