Debbie, Kristi and Beth, I am so sorry for this great  loss.
My favorite memory of Mike is fishing in Missouri for “ the pet fish!”

I've known Mike since 9th grade in Junior high.  I had Mike and Deb up to our home in Montana in 2014 and I'm sure glad they got to see it and we were able to spend time in Yellowstone together.  Mike will be missed. Love you buddy, John 

We are so sorry for your loss!  Debbie (and Mike) were our first child care providers for our son, Matthew. They both did a great job and Kristi and Beth were also great kids!  Mike played a great Santa Claus when he visited our home. Although we have not kept in touch for many years, we were sad to hear about Mike's passing. I remember Mike so well - when he and my husband Mike Johnson (a different one that from the one mentioned by a school friend) they both ran the sound system at Hillcrest Nazarene.  I remember attending Mike's birthday party -- I have very fond memories of Mike -- in fact the last time I saw him was at Rob Sargent's funeral or memorial service -- and we talked a bit about us both being secretaries at our churches.  I remember Mike as having a great sense of humor -- I can see him doing things to Debbie to make her laugh.  Debbie -- you will remember these times as life goes on -- My Mike will be gone 15 years this year -- he and your Mike are up there running the big sound system in heaven now!!    You were very blessed to have him with your for 47 years -- I was blessed to have my Michael 25+ years.  I pray that you and the girls and grandchildren are blessed with peace and understanding at this time in your lives.  God Bless you all always!

I met Mike Attwood at Hocker Grove Junior High School back in the 1960's.  We were two thirds of the Three Mikes.  The third was Mike Johnson.  All three of us lived about 1-2 blocks away from each other.  We eventually went to and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1969.  Growing up with the two other Mikes was quite memorable.  I remember being in gym class with Mike Attwood - struggling with the exercises.  I remember sharing Christmas gifts with Mike Attwood one year.   I still have the tie tack he gave me with the ruby red stone mounted in it.  I remember a Lake of the Ozarks boating excursion where we threw M-80s into the water - That was FUN!!!  But, most importantly, I remember both Mikes as being true friends and true gentlemen.  The three of us knew each other quite well and I will cherish my memories of Mike Attwood and Mike Johnson until my dying day.  I had lunch with Mike Attwood a couple of months ago and now sincerely regret not doing it more.  God Speed old friend!  See you in Heaven!!!!  Mike Chafin

I remember babysitting for Mike and Debbie.  Kristi and Beth were always fun to babysit.  One time I arrived at their house to babysit and Debbie was in the shower and Mike poured a cup of cold water on her.  He was always pulling pranks and making people laugh.  
Mike also ran the sound system for Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene for many years and always had kind things to say to me when I would sing. 
I also remember Mike questioning Dan when he was dating me to make sure he was going to treat me right.  
A few years back Mike and Debbie came to Laurel, Montana and visited us.  They were both so encouraging to us.
