Maxine White

Maxine White, 93, Kansas City, MO, passed away April 2, 2011 at New Mark Care Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Northland Meals on Wheels. Maxine was born on November 28, 1917 in Prescott, KS. During WWII, she worked for North American Aviation and then retired from Missouri Conrad Wholesale liquors. She was a member of Hillside Christian Church. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. White; and son, James R. White. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Czech and husband Dennis; brother, Jon Bortzfield and wife Mary Ann; sister-in- law, Marie Wray; grandchildren: Jennifer Czech, Matthew Czech, and Andrew White.
