Mary Jo Villar

Mary Jo, age 77, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning surrounded by family.

Born in 1939, in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of George and Josephine Riordan. Mary Jo worked for The Girls Scouts and WIC while dedicating her life to her family.

Mary Jo is survived by her children: Patty (George) Kinnard, Carolyn (Joel) Marchesi, Robert (Regina) Montgomery, Mike (Julie) Montgomery, Mark Montgomery and Jason Villar along with 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Riordan, sisters Patsy Nelson and Barbara DeLorenzi and grandchildren, Robert and Michaela Montgomery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 30th, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 31st at 10:00 am at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, Independence, Missouri. A private family burial will be at a later date.

The family wishes memorials be directed to The Nativity P.I.C.S.E.S. Scholarship Fund.
