Mary Helen Sarli

Mary Helen Sarli, 92, passed away peacefully at her home at Claridge Court, Prairie Village, Ks. On June 27th, 2013. Mary was born in Sabetha, Ks. June 5th, 1921 to Glenn and Helen Stowell. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph of 59 years, her son Steven, her sister, Annabelle Pickard and her parents. Mary is survived by her daughter Melinda Wehrle, granddaughter Lisa, former son-in-law Tom, her daughter-in-law Susan Sarli and grandchildren Steven and Sarah of Phoenix, Arizona.

Mary was a member of Kansas City Young Matrons and enjoyed her volunteer work. She loved children and spent many hours volunteering at her children’s schools. A member of Indian Hills Country Club for almost 50 years, she loved her 9 hole golf group as well as participating in the bowling league.

There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association and/or Children’s Mercy Hospital. The family would like to thank the excellent care giving team of Marietta, Andrea, Angelic, Mary, Nakita and the Continua Hospice group for there wonderfully kind attention and care.
